Wichita Falls will be the mecca
for circus enthusiasts of this section
the first of next week. Amid the in-
door comfcrt and safety of the Me-
morial Auditorium there, the third
nnual Maskat Temple-Folack Bros.’
Shrine Circus will be presented at
8:15 Monday night, and at 3:45 and

Mrs. John Robinson was hostess
Wednesday of last week at a tea hon-
oring the Luta group cf Camp Fire
Girls. Officers were elected f<V the
ensuing year as follows: Charlene
Johnson, pres.; Barbara B^wen, vice-
pres.; Patsy Graham, sec'y.; La vets
Cross, treas.; and Janis Crocker,
scribe. The group voted to ask Mmes.
B.b Willingham and C. K. Watson
to act as co-guardians. Sponsors are
Mmes. B. D. Graham. Eddie King,
Jlilly Muldrcw and Joe Slack. Miss
Elizabeth Owen of the Wichita Falls
Camp Fire office assisted the girls in
planning their program for the year.
Present, other than the above-men-
tioned, were Peggv Graham, Gay Nell
| King and Celie Slack.
Camp Fire Leaders
The Camp Fire Leaders Association
met Wednesday of this week at the
home of Mrs. B. D. Graham west of
town. Yearbooks were presented mem-
bers present and the group practiced
making cookies out-of-doers. The
leaders plan to continue meeting the
first Wednesday of each month. .

Georgia Jean Light underwent an
emergency appendectomy Tuesday in
the Olnev hospital and is reported
recuperating nicely.
Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Clifton and
s n, Darrell, of Wifscn, Okla.. visited
the iv«t week-end with his brother
and wife. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Clifton,
in this city.

Emmett Stephens was a Tuesday
overnight visitor at home from his
drilling job at Abilene for Reno Oil
Co.
Also on the 2Vi hour program are
MassaMillianc Truzzi, master jug-
gler: Dwight Moore’s “mongrel re-
vue,” Ernis (Count Ernesto) Wis-
well with “Dizzy Lizzy,” and an aug-
