Have House Guests
Mr. and Mrs. Allan Leistico and
jns, Donavon, Nathan and Kent,
of Austin, were house guests of
R v. and Mrs. Winfield Wickham
over the past week end. They had a
good time fishing and boating, but
it would have been much better had
even one tiny trout decided to nib-
ble their bait.
Mr. Leistico, a prominent lay-
man within the Lutheran Church in
Texas, was much impressed with
the beauty and construction of the
Lutheran Church here, and says
he will recommend that churches
view it before making their build-
ing plans.
Another thing that impressed
Mr. Leistico, who suffers from
sinus trouble in the high country,
was perfect relief in our low salt
air every moment he was here.
Miss June Ann Schicke of Del
Mar College, Corpus Christi, visit-
ed her parents, Mr. and Mrs. War-
rie Schicke, for the week end.
Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Gruetzmacher
and son, Gordon, are home after a
visit with their son and brother,
Glenn Gruetzmacher and family in
El Paso and a sightseeing trip to
Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New
Mexico, returning home through
the Panhandle, Last week end they
attended the Jannsen family re-
union in Nordheim.
