Monday night at the regular
meeting of the Parents,
Teachers Group (PTG) at the
school cafeteria.
The program la a tradition-
al Christmas time event
aponsored by the PTG. The
public Is invited.
Mrs. Wilma Fry and Sister
Noreen are in charge of the
program.

Visiting in the Thomas Rux
home early in the week were
Rux’s brother and family,
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rux
and Tony. The family have
just returned from Singapore
where he was employed by
an oil company.

Mrs. Hood Williams led the
weekly Bible study Wednes-
day morning.
Society of Christian Mo-
thers from Windthorst serv-
ed punch and homemade
cookies Tuesday afternoon
during a party they gave for
the residents.
Mrs. Voisie Strickland was
visited by her nephew,
Duane Oldham from Fort
Worth.
Lola Beaty from Olney,
visited Mrs. AUie Dugan.
Mrs. Mintie Johnson had

Davis exchanged wedding
vows in formal ceremony
Saturday morning in St.
Mary’s Catholic Church,
Scotland. Rev. Cletus Post,
O.S.B., officiated at the
double ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are
Mr. and Mrs. Albert H.
Ostermann of Windthorst,
and Mrs. R.E. Davis of
Ennis.
Swedish ivy formed the
background for arrange-
ments of carnations, star-
burst, daisies and baby’s
breath decorating the cha-
pel.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride walked
down the aisle wearing a
formal gown of silk organza
over satin. The dress
designed hy the bride,
featured empire styling,
accented with Alencon lace
at the waist, neck, cuffs and
above the wide ruffle on the
skirt. Lace appliques adorn-
ed the sleeves and bodice,
while the chapel length veil
was fashioned of silk illusion
with lace appliques. She
carried a cascade bouquet of
stephanotis, white roses,
white carnations entwined
by baby's breath.
Maid of honor was Mias
Ann Ostermann, slater of
the bride. Jan Manglnl of
Chicago, III. served as
bridesmaid. Both attendants
wore dresses of blue floral
patterns made A-llne, ac-
cented with loop-button
closures down the front.
They carried bouquets of
blue carnations, yellow
starburat, orchid daisies,
pink and yellow roses and
baby’s breath.
Best man was Larry Kelly,
and groomsman was John
Wilkins, both of Waxaha-
chie.
