Joseph Robbins
Joseph Robbins Morris, 61,
of Holliday, Texas, died
unexpectedly Sunday in
Houston.
Services were held at 10:30
a.m. Tuesday at Quanah
Church of Christ. Gil Peters,
minister of Holliday CHurch
of Christ, will officiated.
Burial was at 3:30 p.m. in
Holliday Cemetery under
direction of Knowles Funeral
Home.
Morris was bom March 19,
1920. at Delight. Ark., and
moved to Hardeman County
in 1930 from East Texas. He
married Margaret Gibson on
Sept. 11, 1939. in Quanah.
Morris was retired road-
master and a veteran of
World War 11.
Survivors include his wife; a
daughter, Christine Ownbey
of Houston; a son, J.D. of
Sacramento, Calif.; seven
brothers, W.C. of quanah,
C.E. of Holliday, Dudley and
Jesse of Amarillo. J.W. of
Pampa, Texas, Gene of
Abilene, Texas, and Orville
of Dalllas; three sisters,
Beulah Brossart of Fort
Worth and Eula Moates and
Trudje Mahafee. both of
Holliday, and two grand-
children.
Rayford W. Sadberry
Rayford W. Sadberry. 52, of
Holliday, Texas, died Satur-
day in Sherman. Texas.
Services were at 2 p.m.
Tuesday at Holliday First
Baptist Church, the Rev.
Mike Grisham, pastor, offici-
ated. Burial was in Holliday
Cemetery under direction of
Owens & Brumley Funeral
Home of Wichita Falls.
Sadberry was bom Aug. 28.
1928, in Christal Falls,
Texas. He lived in Holliday
36 vears where he owned
and operated Rayford Sad-
berry Trucking Co. He was
a member of Holliday First
Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife,
Gayna; a son, James
Wendell of Holliday; three
daughters, Mary Louise
Boyce. Karri Lynn Sadberry
and Lisa Maria Sadberry, all
of Holliday; two brothers.
Tommy and Lee Alton, both
of Holliday and four
grandchildren.
