Keys and churches are door openers. In both
cases, each require you to put forth some effort.
The key you must insert in the lock and turn.
Our Lord made the way to heaven even easier,
for all that you have to do is present yourself
and believe.
“For by gract are ye saved through faith; and
that not of yourselves: it is the gift of'God:
S'ot of works lest any man should boast: For
we are his workmanship, created in Christ
Jesus unto good works, which God hath before
ordained that we should walk in them."

AARP Hold Salad Supper
March 24, the American
Association of Retired Per-
sons held thier monthly
salad supper in the Archer
Service Center.
Mr. Jake Sheppard was the
guest speaker for the
meeting. He spoke on the
tornado season, which is
already here, and explained
about the siren system and
how to recognize an alert
and a warning. Tornados
come from a thunder’nead or
ahead of a cold front. We
have four Tornado spotters
out of Archer City. Radar
can not pick up the tornado
on ground. Mr. Sheppard
alvi showed films and
explained in detail the
equipment one should keep
on hand including a battery
radio, in case of electricity
problems.
There were 40 present for
the supper, and afterwards,
everyone enjoyed games of
dominoes, forty-two &
cards.
Mrs. George Campbell
introduced our speaker for
the evening. We also were
glad that Mrs. Sheppard was
able to join us. Thanks, Mr.
and Mrs. Sheppard.
