Last Thursday night our Howe High School Drum Corps went to Sherman to participate
in the Christmas parade and while waiting the start of the parade these girls shielded
themselves behind Janie Thompson’s big base drum. An “unidentified” Sherman Dem-
ocrat correspondant took this picture of “unidentified Howe High School drill team
members”. Well we can identify them. They are, left to right, Beverly Hammonds, Virg
inia Thompson, Betty Callaway and Janie Thompson. . ,•••„*, i...... . :- *•
The girls did very well and we were proud of them,
