JUST ANOTHER BULLDOG BOOSTER
BOX
CLUB
Johnson City (UPI) —
President Johnson’s postman
Is a woman and to her he’s
just another mailbox.
Mrs. M. C. Terry stops at
the front gat© of the presi-
dent’s LBJ Ranch near here
daily, drops off a load of mail
and wheels awdy to the next
stop.
But she’s proud of her most
famous patron and thinks he
is satisfied with her service.
“He’s never complanied that
I know of, and I think I would
have heard if he had,” said
Mrs. Terry.
The presidential mail rouf©
runs from west of Johnson
City through the tiny com-
munity of Hye, along Ranch
Road 1, past the LBJ Ranch
and through the villages of
Stonewall and Albert. M~s.,
Terry has them all.

Mrs. Jim Kemp and children
and Mrs. Jerrie Fulgham of
Mesquite spent the week end
with Mrs, Kemp’s mother and
father, Mr. and Mrs. Earl
Taylor.

Let’s be out Saturday morn-
ings and help boost for our
football team.
PROGRESS
Progress travels on the
sturdy back of the question
mark. So long as men accept
the world as it was, it remain-
ed as it was. The individual
who asks no questions rarely
learns anything. Curiosity
may have “killed a. cat,” but
it has created a generation of
scientists.
One of the chief differences
between a little business man
and a big one is th© use which
they make of the symbol of
interrogation. The “small
frv” in every vocation is more
given to talking than listening
He has much to say, but there
is little he cares to know. The
big man has the questioning
habit. He is always trying to
learn something new. —John
Scotford.
