The Bus Association pointed out
that each morning tho school
busses pick ui more than 12'0000
children and transport them over
100000 miles of road to 17000 con
snlldated schools.
"Surely" continued the state-
ment "the enemies of highway
transportation cannot seriously
contend that this service In the
cause of education Is a threat to
rail revenues . Yet that Is tha
view taken when It Is claimed
that the rail lines are competing
with 92.500 busses"
