engagement of their son, Jeffery Frank, to Angela Marie Lightfoot,
daughter of Tim and Penny Lightfoot of Long Beach, California.
Jeff graduated from West High School and is a 1991 graduate of
Henderson State University. He is employed by Cy-Fair I.S.D. in
Houston.
Angela graduated from Wilson High in Long Beach and is a 1993
graduate of Fullerton State University.
The wedding is planned for January 6, 2001 at St. Mary's
Catholic Church of the Assumption in West.

engagement of their son, Richard Wayne, to Jennifer Dawn Ritchie,
daughter of James and Linda Ritchie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Richard graduated from West High School and is a 1995 graduate
of Texas A&M University with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
He is employed by Sprint in Dallas.
Jennifer is a 1995 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with
a degree in Mechanical Engineering. She is employed by the Trane
Company in Dallas.
The wedding is planned for January 19, 2001 at Prestonwood
Baptist Church in Plano.

Justin Wayne Hutyra cel-
ebrated his first birthday Octo-
ber 29 at the home of his grand-
parents, Frank and Georgie
Zabojnik of Ennis.
Justin is the son of Matt and
Amy Hutyra, also of Ennis. Jus-
tin has one sister, Matty, who
helped him eat his "Horseshoe"
cake and open his presents.
Justin would like to thank all
his relatives for their wonderful
appreciation.

Tyler John Machac
Tyler John Machac celebrated
his second birthday on Sunday,
November 12. He had a birthday
party at his home in Malone,
along with his daddy, Richard,
whose birthday is on the same
day.
Also helping Tyler celebrate
was his mom, Jessica; grandpar-
ents, Marcia and Randy Riggs,
Freddie and Dorothy Machac and
Mike and Linda Gassaway, along
with his many aunts, uncles and
cousins.
Tyler would like to thank ev-
eryone for coming to his party
and all of the nice gifts he re-
ceived.
Caroline Willenborg
celebrates first
birthday
DeAnna Beseda
DeAnna Beseda, a junior at
Penelope High School, was se-
lected to the First Team All-Dis-
trict Volleyball last week. She
served as co-captain of the Lady
Wolverines, too.
The Wolverines went 10 and 7
this season. This is DeAnna's
third year to play volleyball, last
year playing on junior varsity.
The team ended the season 17
and 0.
Along with DeAnna, fellow
team members Lisa Dudik,
Lindsey Dudik and Amanda
Beeson were selected to All-Dis-
trict Honorable Mention.
DeAnna was also awarded with
All-District Academic Honors.
She is a cheerleader, member
of Peer Pals and an officer in
National Honor Society.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kubala, Sr. of West are pleased to
announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristie Marie, to
Gregory Blake Bryant, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Bryant of Lake
Whitney.
Kristie is a 1993 graduate of West High School and she received
a B.A. in English from Tarleton State University in 1998. She is
currently employed by Penelope ISD as an English teacher.
Blake is a 1993 graduate of Meridian High School and he earned
a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Studies from Tarleton State Univer-
sity in 1999. Blake is employed as a realty specialist for the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth district.
The couple will be married on December 30, 2000 at St. Mary's
Catholic Church of the Assumption in West.
