of God Church. He married Louise Harris April 4, 1956.
He is survived by his wife Louise; one son, Gene Oswald
of Rt 1 West; one daughter, Mrs. Patsy Ewing °J Da'a ;
Four brothers Lawrence Oswald and B. B. Oswad both of
Waco, Lewis Oswald of Moody and Gilmer Oswald of Ida.
One sister Mrs. Elizabeth Hughes of El Paso, tour
grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and

February 19, 1983 at The First Assembly o God Church
Rev. Richard Guilder and Rev. E. J. Culp officiating. Bun
followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. , ,
Pallbearers were Floyd Horton, Ron Barker, Joe Lo g,
John Drews, Bill Oswald and Vernon Leuschner.
Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of services.

Sam E. Pendleton, age 60, of Rt. 1, West was
pronounced dead at a Hillsboro hospital Monday afternoon.
P Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday
February 23, 1983 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapeh
Rev. B. J. Zientek officiated. Burial followed in St. Mary

Pearl Gordon of Dalhart died Feb. 3 at her home. Funeral
services were Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. at Lincoln Street Baptist
ChMrshGo?don3was the mother of James Carson of West.
Her other sons are: Connie Moore, Milton Moore and
Buddy Moore. She is survived by one daughter Florine
Lindley.
Mrs. George Abraham
Mrs. George (Sophie) Abraham, 81, of Bremond died
Saturday morning in Mesquite at her daughter s residence.
Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m.
Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West the Rev. B.
J. Zientek as celebrant. Burial followed at St. Marys
Cemetery in West. ,, , _ ,
Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Kotch Funeral
Home Chapel in West.
Mrs Abraham was born Feb. 28, 1901, in West. She was
a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bremond, the
Polish National Alliance of Bremond and the KJZJ Society
11 of West Mrs. Abraham, the former Sophie Kocian
married George Abraham July 29, 1919, in West. He died
Oct 22, 1975. She had been a Bremond resident since
Survivors include two'sons, Steve Abraham and Sam
Abraham, both of Bremond; a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Joanna)
Johnston of Mesquite; seven grandchildren; and five great-

And with farmers currently
fighting for financial survival,
it just makes good sense to
cut back on field operations
