January 6,1996 at Saint Mary's
Catholic Church of the Assump-
tion in West with the Rev. Ed
Karasek officiating.
Karen is the daughter of Joe
and Lillian Polansky and the
granddaughter of John J. and
Christine Polansky and Mary
Domesle and the late Joe Do-
mesle.
Kristopher is the son of Den-
nis and Sherry Hall and the
grandson of Charles and Maxine
Hall and the late Edward and
Maxine Keller.
The bride, escorted by her
father, wore a Demetrios bridal
gown of white satin designed with
a basque bodice appliqued with
silk floss lace and leg-of-mutton
sleeves that tapered to points
over her hands and were accented
with lace and bows. The foil skirt
was appliqued with lace and
edged in a wide band of lace with
a candy bow completingtheback
view of the gown. Karen wore a
double pouf veil accented with
pearls.
The bride carried a cascade
“ bpqquet o£btfijgyindy and mauve
rubrum lilies, burgundy and
white rosebuds, blush lilies, pink
gypaophilia, miniature white
carnations and greenery compli-
mented with burgundy, hunter
green, white and pink stream-
ers.
Matron of honor was Jennifer

Willis. Bridesmaids were Kasey

the bride's sisters-in-law, Jana
Jenkins, Ann Zahimiak and
Sherry Kelly.
The bridesmaids wore a bur-
gundy brocade satin dress with
an off-the-shoulder collar
trimmed with pearl beading. The
dress had long sleeves with cuffs
that were also trimmed with
pearl beading. It had a fitted drop
waist and was floor length.
The bridesmaids carried nose-
gays featuring a single burgundy
and mauve rubrum lily sur-
rounded by burgundy roses, gar-
den mums, pink gypsophilia and
greenery complimented with
burgundy net and streamers of
burgundy, hunter green, white
and pink.
Keeley Sulak, the bride's
cousin, was flower girl. She wore
a white satin dress with a fitted
bodice, puffy sleeves and round
neckline. It had gathered tiers in
the back with a bow at the waist-
line. She carried a basket of
burgundy roses, miniature white
carnations, pink gypsophilia and
greenery with burgundy net and
ribbon bows.
The groom wore a black tux-.
edo with a long tailed jacket, his'
accessories were black ocean mist'
vest and bow tie.
Best man was Dennis Hall,
the groom's father. Groomsmen
were Joe Polansky, the bride's
brother, Larry Suddeath, the
groom's brother-in-law, Tommy
Polansky, David Polansky, the
bride's brothers, Kevin Wright,
Jeremy Phillips and Jody Ben-
ham.
The groomsmen wore a black
tuxedo with a long tailed jacket.
Their accessories were black
ocean mist vest and bow tie.
Justin Dutton, the groom's
cousin, was ring bearer. He wore
a black tuxedo with a long tailed
jacket. His accessories were black
ocean mist vest and bow tie.
Houseparty members were
Diane Mach, the bride's cousin,
Kathy Sykora, Pam Buchanan
and Jenny Matus. They wore a
tea length hunter green floral
print dress with a fitted bodice.
Ushers were Kenneth Mynar-
cik, the bride's cousin, and Tom
Willis. They wore a black tuxedo
with a longtailed jacket and kelly
ocean mist vest and bow tie.
Kathy Sykora was the scrip-
ture reader. Richard and Dorothy
Gandy, the bride's uncle and
aunt, carried offertory gifts.
Kevin Poiansky and Daniel
Polansky, the bride's cousins,
served as altar boys. Donna Ri-
eger was soloist and Dorothy
Kucera was organist.
Following the ceremony, the
couple's parents hosted a recep-
tion with a dinner and dance at
the Tours Hal). Music for the
dance was provided, by DJ Derek
Scott. Tire wedding march was
led by Terry andAgnesTimmons.
The groom is employed at
Erath County Sheriffs Depart-
ment. The bride is a student at
Tarleton State University.
After their honeymoon in Colo-
rado, the couple will live in
Stephenville.
Catholic Daughters
host reception
for sister program
The Junior Catholic Daugh-
ters of Court Sacred Heart #829
of West hosted a reception on
Jan. 7 in St Joseph's Hall for the
Juniorette C.D.A. in recognition
of their "Big Sister-Little Sister”
Program.
Since this past September, the
Junior members of the court each
have been sponsoring a Jun-
iorette member as a "Little Sis-
ter" by anonymously sending her
small remembrances on each
holiday. At the gathering, each
Juniorette met her Junior "Big
Sister" and everyone enjoyed
food, fon and games.
J.C.D.A. Chairperson is Kathy
Podsednik and counselors of the
Junior Court are Rose Parma
and Nancy Polasck with its
members being Kristen and Ali-
son Cinek, Susan Doherty, Pam
