JACK KI.RTLEY, SR., DIES AT
ABILENE WEDNESDAY
'Jack Kirtley, Sr., died Wednes--
day mqrjjing, July 20th, iu a hospit-
al in Abilene, where he had been
some time for'treatment.
Burial took place at Waelder on
Friday morning.
Mr. Kirtley is well known in
Aransas Pass, having spent three
years here with his nephew,
Karnts Kirtley. His death will’be
regretted sincerely by many friends
here.
Deceased also spent some time
at Taft with O. E. Kirtley.
Survivors are a son, A. R. Kirt-
ley, of Baytown, two -siscers, Mrs.
Tom Bud, of Waelder and Mrs. J.
A. Eason, of Yoakum, three neph-
ews, O. E. Kirtley of Taft, C. E.
Kirtley of San Antonio and Karnes
Kirtley of Aransas Pass; one niece,
Mrs. E. T. Sims of j*an Antonio.
Deceased was 64 years of age.—
