Sinton will meet for regular service

torium next Sunday. Pastor Fred
Growcock of Three Rivers will con-

Corps Urged
More members for the Sinton
Detachment Corps which are held
each first and third Tuesday nights
In the David Peel Chapel, It was
stated this week. Those who have
completed standard or advanced
training In first aid are eligible.
The minimum membership of the
corps Is fifteen, but more can join,
and It was urged that anyone liv-
ing In Sinton ,or surrounding com-
munity -meet with the group for
practice in the work-of first aid.
Divided into squadrons with Mrs.
J. W. Black, Mrs, J. W. Brewer,
Jr., and Miss Clara McNeill, leaders,
the same group Is enabled to carry
on routine drill at each meeting
which gives those in the training
classes to receive systematic drill
each meeting night, it was said.

Holds Fourth
Annual Reunion
The fourth annual reunion of the
Mayo family was held at Park
Welder Sunday with fifty members

all-day meeting.

designation of Richard M. Kleberg,
representative In cotigress from the
14th Texas district, as delegate from
the United 8tates to the Second
Inter-American Conference on Agri-
culture to be held In Mexico City
July 6 to July 18, according to of-
ficial notification extended Kleberg
Monday by Cordell Hull, secretary
of state.
Thd delegation will be headed by
Claude R. Wickard, secretary of
agriculture, as chairman and with
Kleberg, only members of the con-
gress named to the group, In sec-
ond place on the delegation of 13
members.
The Mexican government has In-
vited all of the other American re-
publics to be represented at the
conference which will consider pri-
marily the role of agriculture In
the present emergency and in the
post-war period.
In notifying Kleberg of His des-
ignation as a delegate. Secretary
Hull made the following statement:
"The Department is most grateful
for your willingness to undertake
the responsibility of representing
the United States at the forthcom-
ing conference. I am confident that
your interest, wide experience and
outstanding reputation throughout
the'Western Hemisphere will en-
hanq<j.the effectiveness of the dele-
gation's participation in the session
of the conference."

3 hard-cooked eggs
2 tablespoons diced
pimiento

Put sausage and eggs through fine knife of food
chopper. Putin bowl with pimiento, pickles,
milk, salad dressing and salt. Mix thoroughly,
than chill. Makes sufficient to spread 6 large,
double sandwiches, or 12 small open-face
sandwiches. Garnish with slices of sweet
pickles, ot stuffed olives, if desired.
2. Raisin Roanvt fpraad
1 cup seedless raisins % cup peanut butte*
1 tablespoon lemon Vd teaspoon salt
juice H cup Pet Milk
Mix together raisins and lemon juice. Put
through fine knife of food chopper. Add
peanut butter and salt Add milk gradually,
mixing well after each addition. Spread be-
tween buttered bread slices. Makes sufficient
for 6 large double sandwiches, or 12 small
open-face sandwiches.

2 cups grated Ameri- */« cup Pet Milk
can cheese or 6 ozs* Vi teaspoon salt

mustard
Mix together cheese, milk, salt and dry mus-
tard. Cook over boiling water, while stirring,
until cheese is melted and mixture is smooth.
Remove from heat. Cover and cool until thick
enough to spread. Spread between buttered
bread tlicea. Makes sufficient for 6 large double
sandwiches, or 12 small open-face sandwiches.
Garnish with strips of pimiento if desired.
