Yesterday he was a Boy Scout,
earnestly learning to take care of
litwiMtlf and do good tp others.
Today he is overseas fighting for
the flag he loves, and for his own
America,
What will his tomorrow be?
The question is up to us as
Americans on the home front. It is
our responsibility to keep Amer-
ica American for the boys when
they come home. The freedoms
for which our country fights are
ours only so long as we safe-
guard them—freedom from want
and fear, freedom of religion,
freedom of speech, freedom of
enterprise.
These are the things that have
made America great. While our
young men are away, defending
our liberty from attack without,
we must safeguard our American
way from attack within.
America is the land of the free
—let’s keep it that way forever!
