We are glad to hear of there
being a street cleaning move-
ment talked of among our citi-
zens. The purpose being to have
a general clean up week, and
clear all the weeds and brush
from the vacant lots and streets
in our town. This is a greatly
needed improvement and hope
the work will soon be started.
C. B._Crutcher and family of
Golhthwaite, who moved from
here to Mills county last spring*
has returned to the land of ‘ ‘or-
ange blossoms’’ and says Sinton
will be his home in the future.
He says that 10 acres here are
worth more than 160 acres in
Mtlls county. This is another
demonstration showing that we
have the best all around country

tees that our school has grown to
such an extent that they have

son, Lonnie, to Corpus last week
to have his eyes operated on.
Mrs.D. Grover, who died at
her ranch home in the Gusse-
ville neighborhood on the 22nd,
was interred here the 23rd.
M. L. Mahoney returned from
Sinton on the 21st inst., where
he has been the past week at-
