“Across The Continent”
One of the most thrilling scenes ever
pictured Is said to be shown in Wal-
lace Reid’s picture, “Across the Con-
tinent,” when Mr. Reid, who Is driv-
ing a flivver in a transcontinental au-
tomebiia race, Mashes through a bias-
ing roadway at more than eighty mile*
an hour.
In the story, Mr. Reid is piloting
his little car at tremendoua odds
across the country, and leaving his
larger and more powerful contestants
