Spider." arrived in Sherman last eve-
ning with his secretary. Arthur Hill
and all arrangements have been made
for him to asseud the Merchants &
Planters National Rank building this
evening at 8 o’clock. Rill is the real
stuff..as he is the champion climber
of the world, having defeated tlie llu-
ltion Fly Jn a climbing contest in At-
lanta, Ga., last year and going by
what tlie papers say in other towns, lie
Is sure there with the climbing goods.
Mr. Strother Jins just finished working
on tlie Victory drive*.Luring this drive
he climbed every day, speaking and
urging the people to buy bonds.
This is the young mau that recently
startled Texas by climbing the Rice
Hotel at Houston. eighteen stories
blindfolded at night, and the Amicable
Life Insurance building in Waco.
