who it is, that says Professor Van
Horn defaced those walls in any
manner, is a most wilful liar, and I
stand ready to back up that state-
ment. I can testify that every bill
presented to me of the Professor’s
has been promptly paid—so that’s lie
No 2.
The Register does not stop to con-
sider that in calling the Professor a
swindler, that it is also giving the lie
to some of tiie best men ot Texas,
who have given him testimonials as
