Every Park System Was Started In

in Dallas.
Itolprt Galloway, chairman of the
Park Commissioners of Memphis,
Tennessee, in replying to an inquiry
frnm the Sherman Chamber of Com-

George F. Kessler. The Sherman
City Commission has under advise-
ment the employment of Mr. Kessler
and the following Information will lie
of interest to tlie taxpayers of Sher-

Mr. Galloway lit ids lpfter says:
“My acquaintance with Mr. Kessler
dates- back to Won when* our park

pleasant to do business with, and at
the same lime, strict in having his
ideas, once adopted, carried out. His
Work liero lias been praisisl by many
visitors.”
According to Mr Galloway, the park
movement in Memphis began with tlie
employment of Mf. Kessler. Today
Memphis has IS parks and |*irk-

given 'above to sCtu-c i hem. For
while the $0-000.000 investment on tlie
part of tlie city of Memphis looks big,
ibis was hilt all spent at once.
As Conimisshaier Galloway Says, il

years, and a large part ef this $<!,-

The wise tiling for Sherman to do
