Makes Appeal to People iif Sher-

1 wish to take this method of re-
questing the ladies of Sherman to save
for me their old magazine*. Right
now is house cleaning time and yon
are probably stacking aside your old
magazines to either burn or sell very
cheaply, for no one pays very high for
these. Wouldn't it he a great deal iiet-
ter to turn these over to me for an
educational purpoae? I want them for
m.v country libraries. There are homes
and not very far distant from you,
that haven't as much as a newspaiier in
them and then think in comparison
what a source of joy your Good
Housekeeping magazine is to you each
month or how you delight In reading
your other magazines arid paiiers
(equally popular which are classed
among “good literature,” and which
you carelessly lay aside when you
have finished witli them. These are
.\yhat I .ask you to give me.,and I will
gladly call for them if you will notify
me of their whereabouts. Remember
you are aiding a good cause, and any
good literature is acceptable.
