Thursday night Dr. T. N. Cutler was
hastily called to Mr. Henry Waterman's
some lour miles cast, of our city, and this
morning Mr. and Mrs. Waterman were
made happy with the presence of a fine

mother and baby is doing well.
“Just come from heaven, how bright

As if the unshut gates still shed
The shining halo round its head.”

The Planters’ Hotel furnishes the table

Only a .Slight Mistake.
Martin of the Sherman Register, and
Darnell, of the Patriot, went into ecsta-
cies a lew days ago ovei the establish-
ment, in that city, of a planing and gen-
eral wood-working factory by Messrs.
Dickson & Northcutt. They both esti-
mated the capitol to be put into this en-
terprise at $.:o,coo, and called it one of
the “big things on ice” for Sherman.
This is all vei y well, only they were mis-
taken as to the location of this magnifi-
cent factory. Messrs. Dickson & North-
cutt have located in Denison, and their
machinery can be seen running every
day from our olfiee window. They have
leased a portion of the building occupied
by the cement works. Their plainer was
put to work earlv this week and will dress
;o,ooo feet of lumber a day. Their turn-
ing lathe.-., and machinery for splitting
flooring and
will be-put In in a few days. Their in-
tention is to be prepared to do all kinds
of wood work, using the latest improved
machinery.
This is an enterprise which, as the
Register and Patriot botli say, is greatly
needed in Grayson county, and one that
will prove of incalcuabie benefit to the
town where located.
The enterprise has our best wishes for
success.
