dauglter, Miss Minnie, w-vs engaged
in ckaning a garment with gascfinc
near a lighted lamp, the gasoline in
the open /be-ssel took fire and spread
to theJrfinds of Miss Minnie, who
" considerably burned about the
ms and hands..
Mrs. Jay, coming to the areistance
of her daughter, was eeve-ely burned
on the arms and neck when, in remov-
ing the burning veusel of gasoline the
vessel was Jostled^ against the door
facing and portions of the contents
splashed to her arms and neck and
hair.
Mrs. Jay’s wounds are severe,
particularly that of the left arm, the
surface skin heing burned to a
crisp before;tbe blare was extinguish-
ed.
