R. C. Thompson of Gouldbusk, was
a caller at the office of the great
family weekly Monday morning. He
says that Gouldbusk is ready for the
big rain. The people are still devot-
ing their spare momenta to water
hauling.
B. B. Gates of the Fairview section
sold last week 160 acres of land to
Arthur Abernathy of Fisk, Coleman
County, Texas, at 125.66 per acre.
Both Mr. Gates and Mr. Abernathy
will build new residences on their

It may have a tendency to curb Jay
riders, and the fellow that has to go

road. Nobody seems to comprehend
why the price is soaring. Crude pro-
duction is greater than when gm* was
retailing at 10 cents and there has
been no increase in wages.
