An old issue, but one council
has been attempting to ignore,
a possible bond issue for street
improvement, will be rehash-
ed again at Thursday night's
meeting of Edna City Council.
Council is aware that Edna's
streets are in deplorable
condition, and with more
people using them daily, the
patchwork is not holding.
Since the budget is tight, the
genral consensus of opinion is
that a bond issue is the only
alternative.
