ning for election or re-elfcuon
to either the Palacios City
Council or the Palacios l.S.D.
Board of Trustees will have the
opportunity beginning Feb. 21
with the opening of the candi-
date filing period for the May
3rd city and school elections.
The terms of mayor and two
city council seats will be up for
grabs in the city election while
two positions on the PISD
school board will also be ex-
piring.
The candidate filing period
for both elections begins Feb.
21 and continues through
March 23. Candidates for
mayor or city council may file
at Palacios City Hall during
regular business hours while
those for school board may
file during regular business
hours at the PISD Administra-
tion Bldg.
