The choir will be leaving
Palacios on December the
twelveth for a taping session at
NBC-KPRC studios. The choir
will tape several songs that
day to be aired some time the
week before Christmas as a
special on The Scene at 5.
Choir director Michael Pe-
trisky commented, “The choir,
and I were on cloud nine when
our albums came in, an on
the same day we received a
call from Leslie Sear,ion the
program director for this
show, so we really have been
off the ground a little the past
few days.”
Petrisky continued, “This
will be a very valuable learn-
ing experience for the stu
dents. It will let them know
what goes into preparing a
television show, and also
demand their very best per-
forming capabilities.”
Concluding he added, “We
don’t really know what day we
will be on the air yet, at least
as far as the exact day is. We
are all very excited, and
looking forward to being pre-
sented to most of this area
of the state.”
