thousands of environmentally-minded Texans
heading to the coast next week as they volun-
teer their time to lend a hand for the 8th annual
Great Texas Beach Trash-Off.

locations.

sulted in international bans on dumping of
plastica In all of the oceans of the world and
prohibition on any dumping in the Gulf of
Mexico and Wider Caribbean, except for finely
ground food scram at least 25 miles offshore.

international shipping and cruise lines, as any-
one who has looked at the labels on plastic bot-
tles that wash up on the beach can tell, Mauro
