this Saturday along seawall
The public is invited to take part in the 4 th annual Trei Palacios
Walkabout, sponsored by the Palacios Area Historical Associa-
tion (PAHA), to be held this Saturday (April 9). All proceeds
from the event will go to the Hill Building Museum renovation
project.
The walk will be 3 miles along the scenic
East Bay arid South Bay seawall side
walk. For those 73 and over, 1-1/2
miles will constitute the walk.
Check-in time for walkers will
be between 9-9:30 a.m. Suurday
at the East Bay reviewing stand.
Entrants completing the walk
with sponsorships of $3-$9.99
will receive a patch. Those with spon-
sorships of $10 or more will receive a T-
shirt featuring PAHA'i Pelican Pete.
Sponsorship forms are available at the Pala-
cios Library, the Palacios Beacon, the Trull
Foundation office and the Luther Hotel. Forms may also be
obtained and completed at the walk headquarters during check-
in time Saturday morning.
