•Christmas is just around the
comer! Enjoy every moment of
the holidays by doing your best
to follow Christs’ teaching. Do
unto others as you would have
them do unto you. Just look
around. It’s not hard to sec some
folks who have less than you and
need some help. Reach out and
touch some one.
I just returned from a few
days in Waco attending the
annual grand lodge. This is a
meeting of the representatives of
all the Masonic lodges in Texas.
This group (approx. 4,000) must
pass on any by-law, constitution
changes, or any added expendi-
ture which is not in the budget.
Needless to say, this becomes
interesting. This year the little
grandson of the Grand Master
was found dead in his crib Wed.

Health "chitchat”. According
to Joe Gracdon’s Houston Post
Pharmacy column, some blood
pressure medicine can raise
cholesterol levels. Maybe that
accounts for the increase in mine
since blood pressure medicine
started even when on cholesterol
lowering medicine. Another item
in Gracdon's column is over the
counter cold and allergy
medicine which can cause other
health problems. He suggests
Vitamin c, hot herbal teas, and if
all else fails, a short course of a
nasal spray to open up dogged
nasal passages.
Notes from "Single Senior on

morning, so the family went
home to take care of the ar-
rangements. The emergency
called for a lot of changes, but all
was taken care of and new offi-
cers installed, etc., just made a
long Saturday.
Seems as if all went well to
commemorate Pearl Harbor, eat
all the fish and all else that I
missed out on.
Come out to the VFW Hall
and play bingo Friday night. We
always have fun.
You folks with those leaky
roofs, better get them fixed.
More rain is on the way this year
and it might be wetter next year.
Just be sure to get a good roofer
