THE FORMER Mgreks’s True Value changed hands last
week when Dale Porter and hie hither, Bob Porter, took
over local ownership and management of the Main Street
business. The Porters, picture^ above with Dale’s wife,
Cathy, and son Scotty, bought the business (Tom Ken Marek
who had operated the businest for 17 years. Renamed
Porter’s Ace Hardware, the store will carry a foil line of
Ace Hardware merchandise in addition to building, painting
and marine supplies. Although currently open for business,
Dale Porter said restocking or complete inventory will take a
few weeks. Porter’s Ace Hardware is open from 7:30-6 p.m.
Monday-Friday and firom 7:30-5 p.m. on Saturdays.
