To Begin Sunday
Af Nazarene Church
Evangelistic service will begin at
the Church of the Nazarene Sun-
day, (January 18, and continue
through January 25. Rev. T. E. Hol-
comb of Houston, an elder in the
Church of the Nazarene, will be
the evangelist at the services which
will begin each evening at 7:30
p.m. Mrs. H. L. Hickman, pastor of
the local church, extends an invita-
tion to the public to attend.

Mr. Holcomb began his minister
in 1932 and served as pastor of the
Church of the Nazarene in Little
Rock, Arkansas, with an interim
of ten years as itinerant evangelist.
During his successful ministry Mr.
Holcomb has been influential in
organizing 18 new churches. Prior
to his re-entering the field of evan-
gelism in 1967 Mr. Holcomb pastor-
ed in Houston.
His strong evangelistic messages
have been blessed of God in Christ-
ian converts and his effective Sun-
day {school work has been accepted
throughout tho country. He is
known as a steward of faith, a
dynamic preacher and a man of
prayer.

Chapter IX, Art. 10, Sec. 9-41, of
the City of Palacios Code of Ordi-
nances adopted July 27, 1969,
states:
"It shall bo unlawful to burn
trash, brush, tree limbs, grass,
trees, leaves, paper, boards, planks,
lumber of any other character cf
debris or inflammable materials
whatsoever in the city limits, ex-
cept in an incinerator or container,
which has been approved, in writ-
ing, by the city fire marshal or
city fire chief, and said incinerator
or container shall be so located so
that smoke will not become a
nuisance to occupants of surround-
ing buildings; nor shall said incin-
erator or container create n hazard
to surrounding property.”
Permits for burning can be ob-
tained at City Hall in cases where
special circumstances are involved.
Citations will be issued to all
violators of this ordinance from
the date of this printing. Please
be advised of this enforcement of
the ordinance.

of the Northeast Quarter of Sec-
tion Seven, Texas Rice Develop-
ment Company Subdivision of Mat-
agorda County, Texas.
That Defendant unlawfully en-
tered upon said premises and eject-
ed Plaintiff therefrom and unlaw-
fully withholds from him the pos-
session thereof to his damage in
the sum of $10,000.00. Plaintiff
prays for judgment for title and
