Club for outstanding agents. Mem-

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Sports-
mon who have not already con-
firmed antelope hunting arrange-
ments with landowners in the
Panhandle. Trans-Pecos, or Per-
mian Basin regulatory areas may
now find permits difficult to lo-
cate due to high sportsmen inter-
est. according to Wildlife Super-
visor Jack K. Parsons of the Texas
Parks and Wildlife Department.
Parsons noted that few permits
may still be available in isolated
areas and he suggested that
sportsmen send inquiries to the
Chamber of Commerce offices
near hunting areas to find out if
any permits are still available.

ORDINANCE NO. 344
An Ordinance amending the
Code of Ordinances, City of Car-
rollton, Texas, bv adding a new
Chapter 22 thereto, establishing
the speed limits for railroad
trains in the corporate limits of
the City of Carrollton. Texas: pro-
viding for the repealing of ordi-
nances inconsistent or in conflict
with this Ordinance; providing for
a severalty clause: providing for a
penalty; and declaring an emer-
gency.
Be it ordained by the City
Council of the City of Carrollton,
Texas:
Section 1. That the Code of Or-
dinances, City of Carrollton, Tex-
as, is hereby amended by adding a
new Chapter to be numbered 22
which said Chapter reads as fol-
lows:
"Section 22-1. Speed of Railroad
Trains.
II shall be unlawful to operate
or run or cause to be operated or
run, within the City, any railroad
engine, car or train of cars at a
greater rate of speed than twenty
miles per hour.”
Section 2. That any ordinance or
part of any ordinance which is in-
consistent with the provisions of
this ordinance are hereby ex-
pressly repealed.
Section 3. That if any part, sub-
division, paragraph, clause, phrase
or sentence of this ordinance or
(he application of the same to a
particular set of persons or cir-
cumstances should, for any reason,
be held invalid, such invalidity
shall in nowise affect the remain-
ing portions of this ordinance,
and to such end the various divi-
sions of this ordinance are de-
clared to be severable.
Section 4 That any violation of
I this ordinance shall constitute a
i misdemeanor subject to the pen-
alties provided in the official
Code of Ordinances, Code of Car-
rollton, Texas, as provided in
Chapter 1 of said Code.
Section 5. That the fact that the
present ordinances regulating the
operation of trains and railroads
in the corporate limits of the
City of Carrollton are inadequate
creates an urgency and an emer-
gency for the immediate preserva-
tion of the public peace, health,
comfort, safety and general wel-
fare, and requires that this ordi-
nance shall take effect immedi-
ately from and after its passage,
and it is accordingly so ordained.
Passed this 2nd day of October,
1967.
