Lambda Rho Chapter welcomed
two guests at the October 11
meeting, held in the home of
I/inda Cooper. The guests were
Sherry Vineyard and Joan
Varner. A very interesting pro-
gram was presented by Linda
Cooper on Beta Sigma Phi and by
Margie Dismuke on ‘Jewelry.”
Refreshments were served by the
hostess and co-hostess, Pat Roll.
A cocktail party was held on
October 22. in the home of Dell
Freeman. Guests were Mr. and
Mrs. David Varner and Mr. and
Mrs. James Vineyard. Mrs. Varn-
er is a rushee and Mrs. Vineyard
is a transferee. Eleven members
and their husbands were present
for the rush event.
The October 26 meeting was
held at the Community Room of
Farmers Branch City Hall. Joan
Varner will be our new pledge
■with rituals to be held at the next
meeting.
The program, a wig demonstra-
tion, was presented by repre-
sentatives of a Valley View chain
j store. Guests were Sherry Vineyard
transferee; Joan Varner, rushee;
and members of Tau Kappa Chap-
ter. Each member and guest en-
joyed the opporunity to try on dif-
ferent wigs. Refreshments were
served by co-hostess, Karen
Sherman.

Turner PTA will have its Christ-
mas program.
There will be 450-voice choir
from all the Carrollton-Farmers
! Branch Schools; the Drama De-
partment will have some readings.
The Art Department wilt have a
display.
