THE CARROLLTON CHRONICLE
CARROLLTON, TEXAS, FRIDAY, MAY 6, 1955
THEY GO TOGETHER
LIKE A PEARL AND OYSTER!
YOUR DOCTOR AND YOUR DRUGGIST
... A TEAM TO KEEP YOU WELL!
Lucky is the man who finds a pearl in his oyster!
And lucky is the modern family with both a skilled doc-
tor AND a trained druggist to serve them—the doctor
to diagnose ills and prescribe treatment; and our own
registered pharmacists to compound, carefully, the
medicines your doctor prescribes. Each is part of a
team working to guard your health!

ROBERT H. COBB and
GEORGE E. HIXON
as Farmers Branch Representatives
on the Carrollton Independent
School District Board of Trustees
MAY 7,1955
These two fine men have no grudge or no “ax to grind” but will serve all the students of all
the district in a fair and democratic manner.
We honestly believe the Farmers Branch area is entitled to representation on our school
board. “Taxation without representation” was tyranny when this country was established
and we believe it still is. Let’s cooperate, let’s be democratic, you have our students, you
have our tax money—
VOTE FOR FARMERS BRANCH TO HAVE
REPRESENTATION ON THE BOARD!
Mr. Cobb and Mr. Hixon will work for a better school for all the people. Go to the polls
on Saturday, May 7th and vote for democratic principles — vote for a fair deal — vote for
Farmers Branch’s representatives — vote for BOB COBB and GEORGE HIXON
