SAMPLE RESIGNS
SCHOOL POST;
GOES TO HEBRON
C. Bell Sample, a member of the
board of trustees of the Carrollton
Ind. School District the past three
years, has resigned his post due
to having moved out of the dis-
trict.
Mr. Sample, who lived in Farm-
ers Branch for a number of years,
reportedly purchased a farm near
Hebron north of Carrollton where
he and family will make their

Board of Trustees
Carrollton Ind. School District
Carrollton, Texas
Dear Sirs:
It is with extreme regret that I
submit my resignation as a Trus-
tee of the Carrollton Independent
School District, which is made
necessary by my having moved
out of the district.
I can’t help but feel much pride
in the accomplishment of the Trus-
tees during the last three years,
and the progress which has been
made and is presently being made
is visible to every resident of and
visitor to the district. Certainly,
this progress is not the responsi-
bility of any one person but, I
feel, actually has been made pos-
sible through the very fine coop-
eration of the administrative and
teaching staff in the district, and
with the enthusiastic help of the
farsighted residents and tax pay-
ers in the district. These groups
combine to make a most effective
working force for the entire school
system.
It has been a pleasure and a
privilege to serve with every per-
| son who has served as Trustee in
the past three years, and, although
not a resident of the district at the
present time, I shall always be
more than willing to work with
the Trustees and administration
I to assist them in any manner
possible.
j You have my wholehearted en-
dorsement and support of the long
range program which you are
planning, all of which I know will
