FIRST GRADE STORIES
Mrs. Huber’s first grade class at
the R. E. Good Elementary School
has talked about the many changes
that one sees in spring. The stu-
dents have studied birds, the ones
who stay with us during the win-
ter and the ones who go away and
come back in the spring.
The boys and girls also talked
about trees pushing forth new
leaves, flowers blooming and the
grass waking up: On the first day
of Spring, March 20, the children
were asked to write stories about
spring.
Here are some of the stories
and the children’s names who
wrote them:
SPRING
Spring is here.
Spring is when the wind blows.
Spring is when the birds sing.
Birds come back in the spring.
Flowers are coming out.
—SUZANNE FARER
