Has Tacky Party
Mrs. Sid Alexander retiring pre-
sident of the Amonia class enter-
tained the class Thursday even-
ing with a tacky party at the Bap-
tist church. Various sanies were
played with Mrs. Fred Thompson
dltoctlng. Guests fpponrcd In
"taek'y costumes' with the prize go-
ing to Mrs. A. Hodge.
As the guests entered the din-
ing tooni they were presented cor-
sages of "artificial spring flowers".
Music was furiitshod by u "wash
board bund." Tho table was laid
with n white damask cloth over-
laid with red checked gingham
and centered with a cedar bucket
filled with fruit. Orange tapers
burned In rod cnndlo holders and
the refreshments of gingerbread
and rod lemonade were served on
orange plates. Mrs. M. J. Penney
and Mrs. Sadie Flzcr assisted the
hostess In ervlnb.
