“The Friendly Little Church.”
Next Sunday marks the first an-
niversary of our new church
building. It was a year ago that
we held our first preaching serv-
ice in the beautiful new “Memo-
rial Christian Church.” Over 550
friends have come our way and
registered in our guest book. They
came from 14 states and 35 Texas
cities.
Our church sebpol has almost
doubled its regular Sunday at-
tendance and both preaching ser-
vices have always brought out a
nice group. We are always glad
when our members come forward
for fellowship with us. The last
two Sundays we welcomed Mrs.
Mixon Stamper, Mrs. Willis Stam-
per, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Sewell,
Miss Clyde Kisinger and Mrs.
Tom Horton. This makes 22 who
have been added by statement, let-
ter or primary obedience.
“The friendly little church”
welcomes you.
Next Wednesday we will have
our regular Bible study class at
7 sit) and choir practice at 8:30.
Thursday at 7:00 a chili supper
for men only will be served.

PAG EM ATI C
A Physician’s Prescription Since 1899
Many years ago an eminent Southern Physician, in
the course of a large practice, developed in his labora-
tory a scientific formula for the relief and possible cure
of rheumatism and kidney trouble. Hoyr marvelously
he succeeded is best testified by the thousands who have
taken the remedy, and spread its praises by word of
mouth, until orders are now received from 28 States.
The ethics of the old physician’s profession would not
permit him to commercialise it during his lifetime, but
since his death it has been patented and is now known
as “Pagematic.” Pagematk contains no habit forming
drug.

Gibtown 4-H Club
Miss Mason told the Gibtown 4-
II Club girls about taking care of
chickens at the meeting Feb. 15th
at the home ,of Mrs. John Hender-
son. She said that chicken water
should be kept very clean, and she
exhibited several chick waterera
and feeders. She also talked on
chick feed, saying baby chick
starter was best for the first six
weeks. Chick feed should never
be put on the ground, as chicks
will waste more than they eat.
She said that chieks should have
small-ground oyster shell.
Attendance was 100%. The club
adjiourned to meet March 1 with
Mrs. J. C. Pruitt, sponsor, in
charge. ,

CHAMPION
The Only Tire Mac&.^ith the
NEW SAFETY-LOCK IcORD BODY
and NEW GEAR-GRIP TREAD...
NEVER before in our experience has a tire
met with such instant and unanimous approval
as the new Firestone Champion Tire. It’s the
Safety Sensation of 1939! Our customers hav<
started a word-of-mouth campaign
that is making this the biggest
selling tire we’ve ever had. Motor car
manufacturers have been so impressed
by Its superior performance that they
have adopted it for their 1939 models.
Why? Because the Firestone
Champion Tire is an entirely new
achievement in safety engineering,
Stronger Cord Body. This
is accomplished first, by the us<
of a completely new type of tire core
called “Safety-Lock," in which th<
cotton fibers are more compacth
interwoven to assure cooler running
and provide greater strength. Then
the fibers in each individual cord,
the cords in each ply and the plies
themselves, arc all securely lockta
together by a new and advanced
Firestone process of Gum-Dipping
which provides amazingly greater
strength. And greater strength
meansgrester safety.
