night and Sunday.
The Young Peoples League put
on a very impressive program Sun-
day evening with Mrs, Evered Veal
as director.
There will be Thanksgiving ser-
vices Thursday evening at the Con-
gregational Methodist church at
7 30 by Rev. B, C Slate.
Mrs. Bill Snively of Sweetwater
Mrs Elmo Wallace of Santa Anna
weer here for a weekend visit with
their home folks, Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Crossland.
Mrs W. B. Gibson from Sherman
was here Sunday for a short visit
with her mother. Mrs. J W Cox
Mr and Mrs. Marcus Chaney and
baby of Coleman spent Sunday here
with their parents, Mr and Mrs c.
B. Chaney.
Mrs M. A. Pasley and son. Jerry,
from Brownwood spent Sunday with
Mr and Mrs. Barney Marten.
Mr and Mrs. Orval Slate was
called to Lubbock Friday to be with
their little grandson, who was quite
ill with pneumonia The little fel-
low is the only child of Mr. and
Mrs H C. Slate.
Mr. and Mrs. Ous Hughes and
'•on, Joe David of Winters, were
here Saturday and Sunday with
Mr and Mrs. Tom Hunt.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester Terrell and
children and Nuel Terrell of Abi-
lene spent the weekend with their
home folks. Mr. and Mrs A. F
Terrell.
Mrs Roy Thweatt and BtUte Roy
were shopping in Abilene Satur-
day.
The Gouldbusk stores will be
closed Thursday for Thanksgiving
and the school will have Thursday
and Friday holidays.
Louis Boatwright has been In
Coleman the past week for medical
treatment far an injured back. We
hope to see him home soon.

school this morning Next Sunday

homa with their daughter and son-
in-law Mr and Mrs. Lampert An-
drews and baby girl. Betty Sue. Miss
Edrene Crutcher remained for a
longer visit.
Mrs. Woodrow Estes Is In Temple
to have a complete clinical exam-
ination. She has been U1 few the
past month.
Mrs. Herman Estes and Mrs. Ray
Caldwell entertained the interme-
diate Class of the BTU with a
treasure hunt at the lunch room I
last Wednesday evening.

evening at 6:30 o’clock. We are
planning a Christmas party for the
holidays.
