operation of her face Monday mor-
ning at the St. Joseph Hospital at
Dallas. Her sons Bert and Dolph
of this place were at her bedside
for the operation.

family of Bangs spent Saturday
night with Dr. B F. Pearce
Miss Zenobla Brown of ACC, Ab-
ilene, daughter of Mr. and Mrs,
Clyde Brown of Burkett U a mem-
ber of Phi Epsilon Beta Art Club
of Abilene Christian College. Abi-
lene, Texas. This club made up of
students studying art, meets month-
ly to discuss various topics relating
to art, and promotes social activities
and lectures on art.

ited Mr. and Mrs Clyde Brown

returned home with her, due to a
sprained knee he was unable to

Cross Cut attended the circus at
Brownwood, Wednesday night.

Baird visited his parent- last week
His mother was seriously 111 and
spent one night In the Coleman hos-
pital.
Mrs Quinn Harris underwent sur-
gery at Coleman Hospital Wednes-
day morning and Mrs Raymond
