Monday night, but ft very enjoyable

severoi different feature* In spell-
ing matches a ve^y enjoyable eve-

In body, we believe every one was
warm at heart for this friendly get-

tended Sunday school and church
at Hill Sunday, and visited -Ills
mother. Mrs John Thorp and fam-
ily.

brother. Wilson, and family of
Sliver Valley. Then they all went
to Abilene on Sunday to visit a

Mrs. E. E- Plttard of Starkweather,
Mrs. George Lusk and Mary Sue.
of Coleman, and R. L. .Garrett
spent Saturday and Sunday In Big
Spring visiting relatives, Carlton
Plttard and family, son of Mrs. R.
R. Plttard and brother of Edwin
Plttard, Mrs. Lusk and Coy Nalley
and famito', nephew of Mr. Garrett.
They also attended the all-day ser-
vices and dlnner ln Big Spring and
visited Kcv. Horace c. Goodman
and family,
Mrs. Riair and two sons moved
from this community recently to
Rockwood. Mr. and Mrs. Blair
moved to this community eleven
years ago Mr. Blair died In recent
year*. We will miss them and In-
vite them back often
Miss Price, home economic
teacher at Mozeiip, chaperoned
some of the girls to San Angelo
Saturday to a special meeting of
some kind for all home economics
classes in the district. Girls from
down here that went were Vonclle
of Voss and Margie Blair and Doro-
thy Netherton. Malcolm Downey
carried them in a school bus. I’m
sure they all had a fine time.
