Those from Coleman who attend-
ed the annual FFA Father and
j Bon banquet at Talpa Tuesday
' night report a most enjoyable eve-
ning. There was more than enough
good eats and the entertainment
was really fine. With the exception
of Ronnie Brown of this city, the
entire program was home talent. It
is estimated that 500 persons at-
tended the event.

our surprise. When he walked
into the office, we thought he
was going to renew his subscrip-

for 10 at one time.

Drive Here Jan. 17
Under the supervision of Mrs J.
A. B. Miller, a March of Dimes
solicitation campaign will be con-
ducted in Coleman, starting Jan.
17. The money goes to assist in
the infantile paralysis program
Mrs. Miller is Coleman chairman.
Civic organizations in Coleman
have been asked to supply three
workers each, in an effort°to cover
the city in one concerted drive.
It has been pointed out that
the money contributed last year
was all put to much needed use.
but that same was far short of
needs and much money from the
national organization was spent in
this county. It is hoped that money
can be secured in the drive this
year.
