John T. Mitchell has authorized
the Coleman County Chronicle to
announce his candidacy for the of-
fice of Constable, Precinct One.
Coleman County, subject to the ac-
tion of the Democratic primary.
Mr Mitchell has been a resident
of Coleman county for most of the
past 44 years, and has been a citi-
zen of Coleman for the past 11
years. During this time he has ac-
quired a wide circle of friends and
acquaintances who have urged him
to seek the position to which he
aspires.
He is well qualified to fill the du-
ties of the office, having served as
a member of the night police force
in the city for some months, and
having been a night guard at the
Coleman Plying School for two and
one-half years. Mr. Mitchell also
had the responsibility of serving as
guard at the main gate of the
world’s largest carbon black plant
during Its construction at Odessa
If elected Mr. Mitchell promises
to act in the best Interest of the
precinct as a whole with favors to
none and Justice to all. He earnestly
solicits the full support and vote
of every citizen during the race.

ing with her.

Central spent Sunday night with
Mr and Mrs. Presley Galloway, and
attended singing Sunday night.
