day to attend John Tarleton Col-
lege May Day celebration.

accepted the Invitation extended by
the college and were accompanied
to Stephenville by Principal E. W.
Scott, former student at John Tarl-
ton.
. Fleming is an outstanding student
m Coleman High School. He let-
tered in football and was present-
ed a merit award for his part. in
the senior play, as the outstanding
boy in the1 cast of characters. He
plans to enroll at John Tarleton
In June.
Miss 8need is also an outstanding
student, being a member of the
Nations 1. Honor-'mooiet y, president
of the Student Council, etc. She
also plans to enroll at John Tarle-
ton.

quite an ailing spell.

and Jimmie Doss made a business
trip to Goldthwalte Saturday.
Saturday, May 1, Mrs. Pulliam
joined a party of teachers at Cole-
man for a trip to Waco to the
state convention of the Delta Kap-
pa Gamma sorority. Mrs. Ruth
Bryan Rhode, a daughter of Will-
iam Jennings Bryan, delivered the
main address.'

Beaulah Dickerson, superinten-
dent of nurses at Overall Hospital,
is from Wichita Falls. She lives .at
the Nurses Home at the hospital.
Bettie Williams, nurse at Overall
Hospital, comes from Novice and to
living at the Nurses Home.
Mr and Mrs. R. L. McCoy have
moved here from Hillsboro and are
living at 310 Concho. He is employ-
ed by the Santa Fe Railroad.
Norris, Mrs. Eva Thompson and
Mrs. Will Thompson attended a
shower in Coleman Tuesday for
the former Lenora Thompson.
