Youth Fair Set for March 8-9-10
Students from Jacksboro,
Bryson, and Perrin-Whitt
Schools are busily preparing
for the annual Youth Fair to
be held at the Fair Associa-
tion Facilities at Lake Jacks-
boro. The dates are Thurs-
day, Friday and Saturday,
March 8,9, and 10,1990. The
public is cordially invited to
attend and see the Agricul-
tural and Home Economics
exhibiting. These 4-H, FHA
and FFA students have
at 4:00 p.m. In addition to
livestock judging, showman-
ship will be judged as a sepa-
rate class. Livestock judging
will be through the day on
Friday. The show order will
be: Rabbit, Sheep, Swine and
Cattle.
The Buyers Premium Sale
begins at 9:30 a.m., Satur-
day, March 10. This will al-
low all judging to take place

JIM FRYAR
Jim Fryar has been hired
as Coach and Athletic Direc-
tor for the Jacksboro Inde-
pendent School District.
Fryar graduated from

Fryar is married to Connie
and they have two sons,
Matt, 12 years old, and
Mark, 10 years old. They will
be moving their membership
from the First Baptist
Church of Howe. Any extra
time Fryar has he likes to
spend with his wife and sons
doing things together.
"I am happy and proud to
be the new coach at Jacks-
boro. Jacksboro has a fine
tradition in athletics and
academics. I realize there is
a lot of work to be done and
challenges to be met. I want
the athletic program to con-
tinue to escalate as it has in
the past couple of years,"
commented Coach Fryar.
