Texas has filed Applica-
tion No. 1110 with the
Texas Department of
Health for a permit to
operate a proposed Type III
municipal solid waste
disposal site to be located
0.85 mile northwest of
Bryson, 0.6 mile north of a
county road and east of the
access road to McCloud
Lake in Jack County,
Texas.
The site consists of
approximately 5 acres of
land, and is to daily receive
approximately 0.675 ton of
solid wastes under the
regulatory jurisdiction of
the Texas Department of
Health when disposed of or
otherwise processed in
accordance with the said
Department's Municipal
Solid Waste Management
Regulations.
Pursuant to the provi-
sions of the Texas Solid
Waste disposal Act (Article
4477-7, Vernon's Texas
Civil Statutes) and the
Texas Department of
Health Municipal Solid
Waste Management Regu-
lations, and the Adminis-
trative Procedure and
Texas Register Act, a public
hearing on the aforesaid
application will be held at:
County Commissioners
Courtroom, Jack County
Courthouse, Jacksboro,
Texas, at 10:00 a.m., on
Tuesday, Decefhber 13,
1977
to receive evidence for and
against the issuance of a
permit for the aforesaid
application. All parties
having an interest in this
matter shall have the right
to appear at the hearing,
present evidence and be
represented by counsel.
A copy of the complete
application may be re-
viewed at the Texas Depart-
ment of Health, Austin,
Texas, or by contacting the
aforesaid applicant
