GOVERNORS OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY J)
February 23-March 1
PISCES—Your gentle nature will be tested this week.
Don't let other drivers get your goat. Remember to
tollow basic traffic rules at all time*—like looking both
ways at all intersections.
ARIES—A week to relax. It your schedule's too tight, try
to loosen things up a little bit And don't speed getting
to the appointments you have. Being a little late won't
be the end of the world.
TAURUS—You may tend towards doing things just half-
way this week Be sure you come to a complete halt at
stop signs.
GEMINI—You may really be feeling like playing around
this week. But let the person with the right of way by at
intersections.
CANCER—Cutting things close could be a constant
thing with you at this time. Don't ride the center stripe
too closely. Someone else on the other side may be
doing the same thing.
LEO—The problems a friend is having could weigh
heavy on your mind. Don't be distracted into making
mistakes, such as following too closely.
VIRGO—A week (or you to be uncertain about where
you're going. When you make a left turn, stay in your
lane.
LIBRA—Watch out for a tendency to make abrupt move-
ments this week. Hitting your brakes too hard can cause
problems for drivers behind you.
SCORPIO—Don't be distracted now. Before you leave
the grocery store, make sure you have all your sacks
secure. If one falls over, it could take your attention off
the road.
SAGITTARIUS—You might feel like making jackrabbit
starts this week. Before you do, think about how much
gas you're wasting.
CAPICORN—Don't be indifferent to the traffic around
you. If it looks like things are slowing down ahead, ease
off on the gas.
AQUARIUS—Make sure your acceleration Is smooth at
all times. You might feel the urge to gun it once in a
while, but be careful—it uses far more gas.

COTTER CROC
Saluting the Texas
farmer and rancher.
Thanks to the dedication and perseverance of Texas farmers and
ranchers, Americans have always enjoyed the best food products and at
the lowest price than any place in the world.
However, the ingenuity of Texas farmers and ranchers is being challenged
to meet enormous food production demands while facing staggering
increases in the cost of production.
Your electric cooperative is faced with the same challenge. Raw material
shortages and sky-rocketing cost of natural gas have made the task of
providing vital electric power an enormous one. But, as always, your
member owned electric cooperative and ranchers and farmers of Texas
will meet the challenge.
We’ve done it before and together, we ll do it again.
