At a called meeting of the
Jacksboro Board of Trade held in

Also approved Mr. Worthington’s
action in conttracting with the
Brown Amusement Co. of Kansas

being a balloon ascension every

Although the board experienc-
ed much difficulty in finding a
carnival company to exhibit in
this part of the state this year;
and did not finally contract with
one until since the last issue of
this paper, every preparation has
been going on since then, until
with the exception of the need of
more time for advertising pur-
poses. all arrangements have been
made for a big show and for the
satisfactory intertainment of Jacks-
horo’s friends and patrons in the
customary way.
About the same number of prizes
and of the same value will be
given this fall as was given last
fall. The complete list will be
found in this week’s issue of the
paper.
This has been another dry year
in Jack county, but that doesn’t
prevent the Jacksboro people and
the members of the Borar of Trade
from going down in their pockets
and spending larege sms of money
to entertainthe people of the Jacks-
boro trade territory.
The corn show and carnival is
held for the entertanimhent of
Jacksboro’s friends. Everybody is
cordially invited to come and enjoy
themselves. Every brovision has
been made for your comfort and
pleasure. We want you to go
away from the show saying that
you have enjoyed yorself and
Jacksboro’s hospitality. We don’t
expect to make any money out of it.
