gram in the schools, faster pro-
gram of rebuilding and improv-
ing highways, and that some
method be used to limit maxi-
mum speeds of vehicles.
Gov. Daniel in his message
pointed out ttyat more Ameri-
cans have died in highway acci-
dents than in all of the wars in
which our nation has partici-
pated. Through 1957 some 1,-
225,000 Americans have been
killed in accidents on streets
and highways.
Daniel pointed out, and have cut
