Sue Barlow writes “We
are preparing to open a
fabulous down-home cookin’,
country-style restaurant
right in the heart of Houston
called The Good Eats Cafe
and Honky Tonk Bar."
There’s apparently only one
trouble: she needs recipes
and menus from the real
country-style places that
have almost disappeared.
Somehow the idea of a
down-home place to eat
caught between clouds of
smog and mountains of trash
and litter in downtown
Houston doesn’t look too
relaxing, but if you want to
help, write her at: 8101
Westglen, Houston 77063.
She says, “Next trip to
Houston, please stop by our
new cafe." But she
neglected to say where it is.

during the day.
2) Consider special locks
